Progressive's Rehabilitation Program is guided by therapists who are dedicated to their patients. Care plans target the emotional, physical and spiritual needs of each client with strong emphasis in positive outcomes and goals.

Physical Therapy

Our physical therapists are professionals with extensive clinical experience to examine, diagnose and prevent or treat conditions that limit the body's ability to move and function in daily life.

• Provide services that help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of clients suffering from injuries or disease.
• Restore, maintain and promote fitness and health to clients including ones with low back pain, accident victims, disabling conditions, arthritis, heart disease, fractures, head injuries and cerebral palsy.

Occupational Therapy

Our occupational therapists help our patients improve their ability to perform tasks in living environments.

• Work with individuals who suffer from physically, mentally, developmentally or emotionally disabling conditions.
• Use treatments to develop, recover or maintain the daily living and work skills of our patients.
• Help the patients not only to improve their basic motor functions and reasoning abilities, but also to compensate for permanent loss of function with a goal of independence, productivity and a satisfying life.

Speech Therapy

Speech language pathologists or speech therapists assess, diagnose, treat and help prevent disorders related to speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing and fluency.

Speech, language and swallowing difficulties can result from a variety of causes including stroke, brain injury or deterioration, developmental delays or disorders, learning disabilities and such.

• Use special instruments and qualitative and quantitative assessment methods including standardized tests to analyze and diagnose the nature and extent of impairment.
• Develop an individualized care plan tailored to each client's needs.
• Teach individuals how to strengthen muscles or use compensatory strategies to swallow without choking or inhaling food or liquid.
• Help clients develop, or recover, reliable communication and swallowing skills so patients can fulfill their lives.
