When a child is seriously ill, everything changes. The increased responsibilities of caring for a child pose a set of challenges. Progressive's Pediatric team of professionals provides a patient and family centered approach giving a fresh perspective, care options and continuous support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to help regain and maintain confidence, control and peace of mind.

• Empower the family to cope with the stress associated with a medically fragile child by providing education and psychological support.

Disease Management

Services Provided

• Pediatric nurse home visits and advanced care planning.
• Communicating with attending physician.
• Monitoring and managing patient's symptoms for optimal comfort.
• Comprehensive support and counseling.
• Spiritual support, music therapy and education.

Staff Qualification

The Kids Care Team consists of nurses with pediatric backgrounds of varying types and must pass both written and practical pediatric specific competency evaluation prior to joining the team.

Specialized advanced care for infants, children and teen with serious illness to affirm hope.
